NetSys SADIS2g TRANSCODER

The NetSys SADIS2g Transcoder is an FPGA based purpose built card for SADIS second generation reception. Its primary function is to extract a 64Kb data stream, decode the HDLC layer and transport the data via TCP/IP to the NetSys driver software.

The card can be installed in a free PCI slot and powered by the station or deployed externally with its own power supply.

When deployed as part of a NetSys SADIS Reception Solution, a competitive price offering implies that we can supply a dual redundant solution at the same price as a non-redundant solution had traditional SADIS hardware been used.

Monitoring
Dashboard
The package includes a web interface to monitor incoming data in realtime and inspect various aspects of reception.

Due to its purpose built nature and therefore simplicity, the offered stability is second to none for SADIS 2nd generation. It makes NetSys a one-stop shop for SADIS solutions and its simplicity means it provides a cost effective solution for especially developing countries where alternative hardware often exceeds budget with no added benefits.

NetSys has in the past though and will remain in future, committed to supply the alternative hardware also should customers prefer that option.

According to the UK MetOffice, the expectation is for users to make the transition from 1G to 2G by 31 December 2008. Please contact NetSys to hear how we can help you make the transition as smooth and cost-effective as possible.
