The NetSys SADIS2g Transcoder is an FPGA based purpose built card for SADIS second generation reception. Its primary function is to extract a 64Kb data stream, decode the HDLC layer and transport the data via TCP/IP to the NetSys driver software. The card can be installed in a free PCI slot and powered by the station or deployed externally with its own power supply. When deployed as part of a NetSys SADIS Reception Solution, a competitive price offering implies that we can supply a dual redundant solution at the same price as a non-redundant solution had traditional SADIS hardware been used. |
